The library’s collection of The Swanton Enterprise has been digitized, with editions back to October 1922. All editions are available through the library’s new website and offer browsing and searching capabilities. The microfilm and its reader will still be available on library premises. The Ohio Digital Library, Swanton Public Library’s source for eBooks, audiobooks, and streaming video, has thousands of titles available for download. Lending periods can be set for up to 21 days, with titles returned automatically at the end of the period so there are never any late fees.
The Friends of the Swanton Public Library will hold a Used Book/Media sale at the library next month! If you have items to donate, please drop them off at the library during open hours. Items accepted include: fiction and nonfiction books in good condition, coffee table books, VHS tapes, and DVDs and CDs in playable condition (no home copies). Please, no damaged books, computer manuals, encyclopedias, condensed books, magazines, or textbooks.
